Welcome to Worthy Writers Podcast! Listen on Spotify and all major platforms.
In this episode, I spoke with Shelley Settles, an author who writes both fiction and nonfiction books.
We discussed how Shelley first got into writing after being dared by her writer’s group to write dialogue. This challenge resulted in her publishing a novel under a pseudonym. Shelley emphasized that you don’t have to be perfect to start calling yourself a writer – you just have to start writing.
Other topics we explored include universal laws and how our thoughts dictate our lives, using the law of polarity to move from negative thinking to positive thinking, and handling writer’s block by understanding where creativity comes from.
Shelley shared so many nuggets of wisdom! A major takeaway was the importance of knowing we are worthy and capable of achieving our writing dreams.

Journal Prompt:
What limiting beliefs about yourself and your writing do you need to break through?
How can you rewrite your inner narrative?
Never forget that you are worthy!
