She’s professional, efficient, a great communicator, and excellent at seeing the gaps in my writing so that I was able to make it better. I knew that I wanted to rewrite and restructure my first book (the Online Entrepreneur’s Survival Guide) because the scope was too broad and rambling, plus I was really angry when I wrote it. I wanted to make this second book a better version of it: more concise, more specific, and with a more friendly and encouraging tone. And I felt completely overwhelmed by the project. I’d been putting it off for almost 6 months.
Kirsten read it and offered me some general feedback. She was honest about what she liked but also gave me real feedback about what wasn’t working, without feeling like she was attacking or being overly critical. After hiring her, we finished the book in a little over a month. And it’s phenomenal. It’s going to help people so much more because of her feedback and suggestions. And working on the book with her felt much better than writing alone.
I felt supported and didn’t get stuck in analysis paralysis because I knew I could reach out and hear her thoughts to help me move forward. I’m genuinely blown away by Kirsten. I look forward to doing many more projects with her in the future! As a matter of fact, she’s going to edit my next book that will be coming out in early 2024.
